Meet Ms. Davisson

Jennifer Davisson PA-C, originally from Leawood, Kansas, joined the team at Dermatology Specialists of Kansas City in August of 2020, after working as a dermatology Physician Assistant for 16 years. Jenny attended Kansas State University and Avila University, where she received two Bachelor of Science degrees in pre-med and biology. She then earned a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Saint Louis University.  While there, she completed a preceptorship specializing in Dermatology.

While her passion is clinical dermatology, Jenny has participated as an investigator in clinical trials. She is a national speaker in areas of psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa and acne. She has also consulted for medical advisory boards. She serves as a dermatology preceptor for students in medical programs across the Midwest and has lectured for the Physician Assistant program at UMKC. She has also volunteered regularly throughout the community, providing skin cancer screenings to raise awareness of skin cancer.

Jenny currently resides in Fairway, KS with her husband and two children. In her free time, she can be found volunteering at her children’s school, helping to lead a fourth grade Girl Scout troop, watching various children’s sports, and volunteering with the BOTAR organization. She loves to exercise and is often seen running or walking her three dogs. Jenny and her family love to travel. Her favorite spots include the mountains of Colorado and Lake Okoboji in Iowa.
